After your pest problem is taken care of, we want to ensure that the bugs don’t come back. So as your exterminator, there are some things we want you to know moving forward.
1. We Need You to Do Your Part
We will come in and do everything we possibly can to successfully get rid of your pest problem. However, if you do not follow the advice we give and do your part, your pest problem may come back. If we ask you to do certain things like keep your garage door closed, fix screens on your windows, or seal any cracks, we hope that you will take our advice and do those things. Once we have done our part, we ask that you do your part to avoid the return of any more pests.
2. A Clean Kitchen Does Not Always Exempt You from Pests
Though food that sits out, dirty dishes and countertops are an attractant for pests, they aren’t the only things that invite pests into your home. You may have a spotless kitchen all the time, but still have a pest problem. If your home has a high amount of moisture, pests will thrive in that environment. It is important to discover the high moisture areas in your home and keep them nice and dry to avoid pest infestations.
3. Though You May Not Have a Pest Problem Now, You Are Not in the Clear
Once winter hits, pests want to work their way inside your home to keep warm. So, if you want to make sure your home doesn’t become a safe haven to all sorts of pests, it is time to take preventative measures to ensure that doesn’t happen. Some ways to do this are placing weather strips on the bottom of all your doors, placing screens in your windows or other places small pests can come in, and sealing any cracks and crevices that will allow rodents to slip in.
As your exterminator, we want to make sure our pest control efforts are as successful as possible. Give us a call now if you have any questions!
